Hello everyone, As you are probably well aware, the break is officially over... but it's okay because we have exciting things in store for this semester! We will be at the U.G.A. Winter Activities fair on Wednesday, January 21st, from 10am-3pm. We have also received confirmation from campus reservations and plan to have our very first meeting that evening (1/21/15) at 6pm. Come meet us in Tate room 472 for snacks and information about what you can do to help us end modern day slavery. Not to mention you will have the opportunity to meet some really great people on campus that you might not otherwise get to know! If you couldn't tell, we are SUPER excited about this movement. Please email [email protected] with any questions or if you want to join the listerv to receive updates about meetings and philanthropy events. Have a wonderful first week back. :-) "Freeing slaves is about community. It's about strengthening community resistance in slavery hot spots so that traffickers cannot prey on vulnerable children, women and men. And it's about building a community of supporters among those of us who live with the blessing of liberty, and then building a bridge between those who need help and those who can provide it." - Free the Slaves
